Full Service Fundraising Event – Cocktail
Occasions For a Purpose was hired to create a brand new event for a nonprofit that had been in business for 10 years and had never had a fundraising event. At the initial planning meeting we came up with the concept, name and ideas for the event. Over the next 4 months we set the location, hired vendors, created and mailed sponsorship letters, recruited sponsors and a host committee, and gathered silent auction items. The inaugural event was a huge success with over 150 guests in attendance raising over $60,000.
School Fundraising Banquet – Month of Event Planning
We were hired to help with the final month of planning for a local school’s fundraising banquet. This was an established banquet that the President himself had planned for a few years. He decided to contract us to help so that he could enjoy the day of the event. This also allowed him to feel confident that everything was under control and know the timing would be right on schedule. Prior to the event we helped with the guest list, name tags, seating arrangements, ticket sales and décor. On the day of the event we helped with set up, management of vendors, arrival of guests, schedule of events and time management, as well as break down.
Party/Corporate Event – Private Ball
We took an event that was in its 8th year and helped provide something new and exciting that would still have a high attendance to raise money for a charity of choice. We began with the same concept they had embraced every year and brought in new elements. A photo booth, a live band, a raffle, and new silent auction items. He was a huge success and had the greatest attendance to date.
